The Atlanta Science Festival hosts a number of small science workshops for the city's youth and their families in order to promote interest in the sciences and create a safe space for learning. This year, ASF wanted to grow their campaign with an animated logo and series of animated shorts detailing some of the fun events for their official Facebook page. In order to maintain the theme of safe yet fun science going, I created an animated logo using simple vector graphics and some familiar symbols of science to allow potential attendees of all knowledge levels to more easily feel comfortable attending the event. The animations are simple and the colors are bright to bring about an air of youthful fun and energy.
